The Peace of Wild Things
When despair grows in me
and I wake in the middle
of the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life
and my children's lives may be,

wild things

So it's exam week and I'm right in the middle of my poetry portfolio and I am horrifyingly bored. So naturally, I got on Pinterest and this is what I learned: the inventor of Spanx was a Delta Delta Delta. So from my sorority to your thighs, you're welcome. I hope y'all enjoy your week more than I do!! But there is a light at the end of the tunnel for me: moiiii dad and I are leaving for a boating trip on Saturday!! We will be traveling from Puerto Rico to Florida via la Ocean and I am very excited. More to come on that...

Oh and also, at the end of this week I'll be a JUNIOR IN COLLEGE. Let that sink in for a minute and then call me with ideas for a mid college crisis. Tattoo? Motorcycle? Start speaking with an accent? The possibilities are endless, but I'm learning very quickly that college is not :(
